The Kirwan Room, named for the historic Kirwan family that built and occupied CastleHackett House for 300 years, embodies the nostalgic lifestyle found within distant and faraway places. W.B. Yeats, in his writing of ‘Fairy and Folk Tales of the Irish Peasantry (1888)’, acknowledged the ownership of CastleHackett fairy folk and their possible invention by the Kirwans, in order to support their financial and fiscal status. The myth has surged and established itself as imagery, alongside tales of lepreachauns, which challenge and stimulate the wonder and awe of visitors annually.

The Kirwan Room hints at these travels within its cosy yet, very spacious area. Accomadation is up to 4 guests, 2 luxury single beds, 1 King bed, with crisp white Egyptian cotton. Large ensuite bathroom and lots of common spaces to enjoy. Breakfast Buffet included.
